My family has known Inga for 17 years and developed a great respect and deep fondness for both her and Andrew. in 2005, she welcomed our young family to the "hood" and made us feel at home right away. During those years, our friendship blossomed. We looked forward to tea, cookies, and a swim in their backyard pool while the girls learned good neighbourly skills like watering their plants or walking their son's dog when they were away. Inga's kindness, witty sense of humour, combined with her extensive plant knowledge (she could ramble off plant scientific names like a seasoned taxonomist), sophistication, yet down-to-earth attitude towards life, fun times were always had with the Beamishes. Dinners together were a blast. When they downsized, we didn't get to see her as often but she was always in our thoughts. Forever in our hearts, we will miss her dearly.
