Obituary of Dr. Gopinadhan Paliyath

PALIYATH, Dr. Gopinadhan “Gopi”

Peacefully passed away, surrounded by his family, at Grand River Hospital on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at the age of 72 years.

 Beloved husband of Ramany.  Loving father of the late Raghesh (1993), Surya (Manish) and Vas (Adrienne). Cherished Muthacha of Anushka and Rowan.  Survived by his sister Valsala (Ravi) Predeceased by his brother Hari.

Gopi was a Professor at the University of Guelph for over 34 years.  He enjoyed gardening, had an eclectic taste for music and was a big sports fan along with spending time with his family. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 11am with a reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
