Ruby, I light a candle to you this Christmas morning. Remembering the morning you left for Canada, all those years ago, many tears were shed, mainly my mother’s! Dad running you to Prestwick airport, in his Morris 1000.
You had become such good friends and part of our family, from the time you delivered my brother, Graeme in May 1954 in Renfrew.
That friendship continued, along with Dorothy, even after my mother’s death in 2003.
Ruby, you were wonderful lady I was so privileged to have met.
Dorothy our love to you and Ruby’s family here in Scotland.
