I believe Joan was my first boss, out of high school at Hotpoint.
I lived around the block from her at 70 Ellis. She used to call me Happy Harry and wrote me the nicest letter of reference that i kept for many years. I moved to New Hamburg 2 yrs ago and am now 72. Claire Gourlie (nee Burnell). I remember her most fondly and send my condolences.
