Our deepest condolences to Brians family. I worked many years with Brian at Carlings and Labatts in Waterloo and I always remember Brians quick smile and laugh. And there were many opportunities to do so. RIP Brian

As a friend of his daughter Ashley, I still recall meeting Brian for the first time. He greeted me with the warmest smile and I immediately felt welcome in his home. I fondly remember how his subtle sense of humour and genuine interest in knowing me shone through in our conversation.
Over the years I would come to know Brian as a kind, genuine man who loved his family and his best sidekick Buddy more than anything. I am blessed to have been around him and the Heimpel family from time to time, and I see so many of his great qualities in his children.
To Ashley, Pat, Jeff, Tim, Buddy and the extended Heimpel family, I am keeping you all close to my heart as you grieve the loss of someone so loved by all. The imprint Brian has left on so many people, including myself, will radiate for generations to come.
“Drop a pebble in the water: just a splash, and it is gone;
But there's half-a-hundred ripples circling on and on and on,
Spreading, spreading from the center, flowing on out to the sea.
And there is no way of telling where the end is going to be"
With heartfelt condolences,
Tina Murphy

Our deepest condolences to Pat and to the rest of Brian's family. I was a colleague of Brian at the Labatt Waterloo Brewery for over fifteen years. Brian was an integral component that aided the successful integration of the Labatt purchase of the Brewery from Carlings back in 1977. He was a congenial and tireless worker who exhibited a calm, cool and collective approach to all accounting and human resource initiatives. He will be sadly missed................RIP Brian!

(Uncle) Brian was a kind man with a warm smile. He looked so happy when surrounded by family at the Christmas gatherings and annual picnics. The pandemic affected these events over the last couple of years, but I have fond memories of the times when we were able to see each other and catch up. Brian is an important part of those memories, and his presence will be greatly missed. Sincere condolences to Ashley, Tim, Jeff, Patty, and all of Brian’s family and friends. We are thinking of you during this difficult time. – Doreen, Justin, Sophie & Sidney
