On behalf of the International Police Association, Region One - we extend our sincere condolences to Fran / Jerry and family. Alec loved the IPA and was our longest serving and truly proud member. Alec had marked his 60th Anniversary of service this year.
We met Fran, Jerry, Joshua and Rachel a few times in recent years, including the IPA Anniversary awards luncheon and during presentation of the special British award for your Dad's contribution to policing over a half century ago in London, England.
Alec was a dedicated family man and very much a part of his community and volunteering. Alec had an infectious smile which could light up a room, in addition to a 'mischievous grin and an amazing sense of humour'. I feel honoured to have known your Dad. We will miss Alec at our meetings and luncheons. May he rest in peace.
