Rans was a special gentleman. He was curious and interested in so many areas. He and Barb shared their love of Victoria BC with me and I went on some adventures because of his recommendations. I will miss his smile, his knowledge, his sense of humour and his big hugs. He rarely missed a class when we were together at Waterloo Heights.
He is one of the good guys and will be missed but remembered always.
