I just learned today that Hugh passed away. My sympathy goes out to Hugh’s family and friends. Hugh coached me for 2 years in the Kitchener Allstar stream. I have very found memories of playing hockey under Hugh’s leadership. Take care

I was the Recreation staff that worked closely with Hugh. Many residents touch my heart, but no one has ever touched it the way Hugh had his ways of doing. His passion for others, his warm heart and love of our Lord Jesus will forever be an inspiration to me. I am so thankful for my time I had with Hughy, and he loved when I would bring my puppy up to lay on his bed with him in his later stages of life. Thank you Hughy for showing me what it means to truly love with an open heart. You will be so dearly missed. Your smile will always be so remembered.
