Our thoughts & prayers are with the family....Shirley was an amazing woman always willing to help, spent many hrs in the kitchen at Knights of Columbus with her. lan learnt how to make schnitzel from Shirley and to this day always says that's how Shirley told me to do it. Suzie we are thinking of you & your girls they were so special in Shirley & Herbie life...She was such a strong lady & never complained about her parkinson's ..will always remember her...lan & Marlene Faulds

I got to know Shirley though Herb who worked at the Regional yards fixing our cruisers . When I was stationed in New Hamburg I spent many hours at Herb and Shirley's in St Agatha . Shirley was a gracious host and her coffee and pie was always appreciated ( and delicious). We talked of many things and you always knew where Shirley stood on an issue which was one of the many things I liked about her . I will always remember the phrase " he's out in the barn " which she said every time I asked where Herb was . Sympathies to Greg and Jarred and the rest of the family . I will miss her. Dusty Rhodes
