Linda was a dear "vacation" friend whom we met along with Don on St. Martin. We enjoyed seeing them almost every year we travelled there. We were extremely fortunate to have them visit us in our home in Florida just a few years ago. That is how we will remember Linda as a fun-loving person with her great wit and sense of humor. We were blessed to know her.
Don, you are in our thoughts and prayers with hopes that our paths will cross again in the future.

Don and Ken, this is tough. Losing your wife and mother must be the worst thing ever. We met Don and Linda 22 years ago in St. Martin. The cute little kanuck couple was simple adorable! We loved meeting them on our morning walks along Orient Bay. Watching them orchestrate their morning towel ritual, and beer and mud slide rituals! Our lives were blessed by knowing Don and Linda and calling them our dear friends. Their last visit to FL will be a cherished one. Don, know that we will never forget that loving little lady and Ken, know how proud she was of you as we talked about your artistry. Much love and prayers to you both!

We met Linda and Don for a long time each year in St. Martin. They were morning walkers as I did and I liked their friendly and charming way when we met on the beach.
I am so sorry, Don, for your great loss, you were a perfect couple.
Love Martina and Marie-Theres (from Austria)

What a wonderful Lady. She and Don were perfect for each other. Great personalities and very generous. They were my next door neighbors in St. Martin a number of times. I can remember, and hear, Linda pounding walnuts in the morning. We always got a good laugh about that. She will be missed greatly. Don, again so sorry for your loss.

So many memories of Linda....I always seem to gravitate to those also named Linda. She always knew what to say for laughter. LIke Laurie Behenna, said, Linda always ended with "eh?". We always enjoyed talking with her & Don on-the-beach. I asked her "What's for dinner?" and her reply was "hot dogs & wine".
I enjoyed being Facebook friends with Linda, not realizing it was Linda from Toronto until we saw each other the next summer. She sent funny attachments, mostly about cats, as we're both cat lovers.
One of our best memories was the last time we saw Don & Linda in Florida, a few years ago. We tried our hand playing PickleBall, not really knowing what to do. It ended up being "USA vs. Canada" with no real winner declared.
May Linda rest in peace, free from pain & suffering.
Love from Linda & Bob Snider, California

Linda was one of a kind. We met Linda and Don in St. Maarten and were impressed by her warm personality. She was always cheerful, even when we knew she was hurting. She had Dengue fever, but still managed to dance the night away. She loved to send me little jokes that she thought I would like from Facebook. Always ended her correspondence with her little "eh". She sure could make me laugh.
Always positive and caring, she will be greatly missed by everyone she has met. Our lives have been enriched by knowing her.
Don, she meant so much to so many. people. Our hearts ache for you and your son!

Susie and I spent many summer vacations in St Maarten with Don and Linda. We became good and lasting friends the first time we met. Walking the beach in the early morning, mudslides and coronas in the afternoon, happy hour before dinner, and dinner and dancing are a few of the memories that bring smiles to my face.
