Obituary of Linda Dawne McCuen

Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the age of 71.

Loving wife and best friend of Don McCuen, married for almost 40 years. Dear mother of Ken McCuen of Waterloo. Will be fondly remembered by her mother-in-law Ruth McCuen of Guelph, brother-in-law Robert “Bob” McCuen of Guelph, sister-in-law Marie Dumble of Toronto; nephew Jeff Dumble of Texas and niece Karyn Dumble of Toronto.

Linda loved taking walks with her husband, reading, and in recent years playing video games with her son. In years past, she also enjoyed the couple’s annual trip to their favourite resort on the island of St. Martin. Many special friendships were made there.

Her working life included KW Hospital, where the couple first met, and Towers followed by Zellers department store.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., remarks to be held at 2:30 p.m. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the compassionate staff at Grand River Hospital for doing their best to help Linda.
