In Deep Mourning of Mr. Fan Jianhua!
Jianhua, a devoted husband and father, a dear friend of many, passed away on the night of July 5th, at the age of 61. We deeply mourn his unexpected departure and our hearts are filled with great sorrow and a deep sense of loss.
He was a devoted husband and father, always cared for his wife Ling and his son Hope, and always put others first. He was an outstanding civil engineer, a pillar of the company wherever he worked, and colleagues and clients greatly valued his expertise and trusted his advice.
He was incredibly capable in all aspects of life, and there was nothing he couldn't do. He was always willing to help others and earned the respect and love of his friends through his sincerity and kindness. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards, and golfing and much more.
Jianhua was actively involved in community service. He joined the Waterloo Region Chinese Community Association in 2006 and was an important member until his relocation from Waterloo in 2012. He was also one of the founding members of the committee. He was currently a member of the WCCA’s golf club, and he spent many days on the golf course, sharing laughs and friendly competition with his friends. Over the past decade, Jianhua has shared many wonderful moments with us, and these memories will be forever cherished in our hearts.
Jianhua had a warm and generous spirit that touched the lives of all who knew him. His sudden departure has been a tremendous storm to his family. During this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences, sympathy, and support to Jianhua's family.
We sincerely invite you to participate in Jianhua's farewell ceremony, where we can celebrate his extraordinary life and reminisce about the beautiful moments we shared together. It will be held on Tuesday, July 11th at 1:00pm at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home's chapel, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery.
