In the 1980’s Doug coached two of our sons. Andy played on the Blue Jays. Doug would probably say that this was the best team he ever coached. Two years later he coached John on the Atom AA team, and they didn’t lose a game until late November. Doug was a great coach, always organized, and with clear expectations for the players. We and our sons remember those years fondly. RIP, Doug, and condolences to the family.
