Our sincerest condolences for your loss. Sheila was a wonderful and kind human being. She will always be remembered for her welcoming smile and gentle nature. The Kumars have always been a close part of our family. Sheila and Ramesh like aunt and uncle, and Rohit like a little brother. Even more than that, they have been and always shall be great friends. Sheila will sorely be missed. May she rest in peace.

I was saddened by the passing away of Sheila aunty. I remember watching her with admiration when I was a little kid attending grade school in Sri Lanka, seeing her go off to work every weekday morning, very professional and stylishly dressed. I recall her siblings mentioning that she was an athlete and leader as a student. Her independence and decision to leave for Canada at a young age was admired by many in the extended family. I very much appreciated the hospitality shown by Ramesh uncle and Sheila aunty when I visited Canada for the first time many years ago. I carry with me fond memories of her life. May she rest in peace.

Aunty Shiela was more than just an aunt; she was a confidante and a pillar of unwavering support.
From the very outset, she embodied the qualities of kindness, compassion, and generosity. Her pivotal role in facilitating our move to Canada opened doors to a better quality of life.
Reflecting on my teenage years spent with her, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude. Aunty Shiela possessed a unique talent for turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. Her radiant smile illuminated every room she entered, and her warm embrace radiated love. Her guidance was like a compass, offering the right words of advice, teaching us the value of resilience, and emphasizing the pursuit of our dreams, regardless of the obstacles. Her quiet strength remains wellspring of inspiration and she generously bestowed the precious gift of her time whenever it was needed.
As we bid our final farewell, let us hold close the profound lessons she imparted: the power of love, kindness, and the beauty inherent in every facet of life, even during its most arduous challenges. Although she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will persist, thriving in our hearts and cherished memories.
In conclusion, I wish to share a Bible verse that Aunty Shiela held close to her heart:
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" (2 Timothy 4:7-8).
Aunty Shiela, you will be deeply missed, but your love and legacy will forever radiate in our lives. Thank you for being a beacon of light and inspiration. May you rest in eternal peace.
With love and cherished memories,
Sherine and Dileepa

To a wonderful, loving woman, Sheila Kumar, who touched my life in the short time I was blessed to know her. Her face adorned most days, with a warm & gentle smile. A smile I will never forget. Not a day went by where her devoted husband Ramesh (Sir), daughter-in-law Fiona and son Rohit were not by her side. To Chetan & Isla you will have wonderful memories filling your hearts of your grandma for your lifetime. She will be watching over you both I'm sure.
May you be with your Lord Sheila and be comfortably resting in peace. You will never be forgotten.
With our heartfelt condolences at this difficult time.
Love Paula & Dorothy Hummel. xo
