Joyce and Harold were two of my parents’s, Lillian and Bill Aitken’s, best friends in Waterloo. After my father passed suddenly Joyce was an incredible friend and support to my mother for many years until she passed in 2011. Always calling and inviting mum to her home and various events, Joyce was so kind, thoughtful and always so positive. I also consider Joyce a special friend and was impressed that she kept up with the times and was even on Facebook, often liking my posts. Our planet has lost a beautiful bright light but there is one more shining on in heaven. Rest well in the light and love Joyce.
