May 2, 1946 – November 22, 2023

Lorraine passed away November 22, 2023 at age 77.

She is survived by her three sons and their families, Bob (Dann) and Andrew of Toronto; Jim (Kathy) and two grandchildren, Alex and Eric of Michigan; and Jeff (Tania) of Kitchener. She will be missed by her family and many friends who she cared deeply for and her grand-fur puppies Pearl, Rory and Anson. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband John in 2021 and her parents, Jack and Ida Collins.

She was born May 2, 1946 in Hamilton, Ontario. Before settling in Kitchener-Waterloo in the late 1960’s, she had a life of adventure living from Dryden Ontario to Tuktoyaktuk NWT. After relocating to KW, she became a home-based entrepreneur until 1984, when she went back to school and joined the University of Waterloo, retiring in 2010 after 26 years of service, as the head administrator for counselling services. 

Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Lorraine, visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on December 2, 2023 from 1p.m.-3p.m. Refreshments will be available. Cremation will follow and a private family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery.
