Lovingly remembered by her children, Karen (Brent), Mark, David (Katie), and by her daughter-in-law, Karla (David). Cherished grandmother of Jessica (Craig), Shawna (Zach), Amanda (Zack), Nicole (Matt), Marcel (Amanda), Luc (Gabby), Elise (Ryan), Willem (Emma), Sydney, Samantha, Kennedy, and Julia. Cherished great-grandmother of Madelyn, Carter, Ben, Jazmyn, Jemma, Ozias, Violet D., Violet L., Ivy, and Leo. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Muriel Beacom, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family residing in Holland.
Carol is pre-deceased by her loving husband of 62 years, John (2019), her son, Paul (1994), her great-grandson, Holden (2018), and her parents, Cecil Beacom and Ina (nee Tyner).
Carol loved spending time in the Muskoka area, especially at the family cottage on Lake Rosseau. Gardening and photography were a couple of her most enjoyed past-times. Her home and cottage were proudly decorated with beautiful gardens that were always enjoyed with family gatherings in the summer. Her artistic passion was passed on to each of her children. However, one of her most well cherished memories were dances shared with her other half, her husband, John.
She was a faithful and long-time member of St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church, located in Brampton, Ontario.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at A.R Goudie for the exceptional and compassionate care shown to Carol.
