Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Blancke

Margaret Elizabeth Blancke passed away at home with family by her side on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the age of 73.

Maggie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband George, daughter Regan, grandchildren Sadie, Braden, Madelyn, and Desmond, and her great-grandchild Georgie, brother John (Sandy), and her sisters Martie (Rick) and Pat (Bryan). She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Erma Regan.

Maggie enjoyed painting, knitting (especially scarves), gardening, cooking, and looking after her physical fitness. Above all, she loved to spend time at home with her family.

The family extends a special thanks to all the staff at Grand River Hospital’s Cancer Centre for their exceptional care of Maggie.  

Cremation has taken place.  A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be arranged through www.erbgood.com.
