As a young kid I worked at the Godfrey dealership in the 1970s and have very fond memories of my times there. I reconnected with Ted a few years back. Recently I had the opportunity to visit with Ted and Buddy at the shop a few times. We talked cars, dogs and the old days.
I remember the time he came up to me washing the cars on the lot as a kid. I was doing it wrong. He told me, Bobby always start on top. But it was the way he said it. Not critizing, but kind and thoughtful. That was Ted. I will miss our visits. RIP.

Very sad to hear. Ted was like my father. Many fond memories of good times together.
Rest in peace Ted. My sincere condolences to his family you are in my prayers and thoughts. I remember the grill in that Cadillac it took me 3 days to polish it!
