Obituary of Edward Wright Godfrey

GODFREY, Edward Wright

February 23, 1951 – June 2, 2024

 

The family sadly announces the sudden passing of Edward “Ted” Wright Godfrey at his residence on Sunday, June 2, 2024. Ted Godfrey was 73 years of age and was born in Kitchener, Ontario. 

 

Ted is survived by his sister Lenora (Rick Harrison), daughters Allison Godfrey, of Texas and Amanda Godfrey, (Gaetan Ranger) of Callander. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Robert Ranger, Braesyn Ranger and Andre Davis.

 

Predeceased by his Father Orton Godfrey and his Mother Harriett Wright Godfrey.

 

Ted was the proud owner of Wright Motors Products in Kitchener for many years and worked in the automotive industry all his life. Ted lived life to the fullest, cherishing his family and friendships and adoringly took care of his two German Shepherds, Bear and Buddy.

 

At Ted’s request cremation has taken place.
