Dear Doug and Heather,
Three generations of us will miss visiting with Su in our front yards and at our curbs and in our driveways and on our porches and in the middle of our quiet Crescent. We remember her welcoming neighbourhood gatherings, and her cards on every birthday even as our family grew. Su delighted in plants and birds, and her bold dedication to re-wilding your front yard, especially her knowledge of and dedication to pollinator plants, inspired our own garden. She was our garden librarian, our neighbour and our friend. She was dedicated to peace with justice for all the people of the world. For us, close by, she was always there in any time of need. Now, she is remembered with appreciation and love and deeply missed every time we walk out our front door.
