After 101 years and 3 days, Hazel (Mom, Grammie) decided it was time to go to heaven. She left peacefully, with family by her side at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Thursday, June 27th, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Albert Orth (1987).
Loving mother of Evelyn (Cliff) Durk, Sharon (Paul) Good, the late Brian Orth and Allen (Lynn) Orth.
Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren; Christine (Matthew) Gagnon, Paul (Cindy) Luhowy, Cheryl (Rob) McKeon, Heather (Mark Penner) Good, Steve (Andrea) Good, Sunshine (Dan) DeFrane, Jessie (Katie) Orth, Nolan (Jenna Maurice) Orth, Kelsey (Melissa McBean) Orth and Caitlin (Barry) Alexander.
Great-grandmother of 16 great-grandchildren; Emilie and Gabrielle Luhowy, Will and Jack McKeon, Khobi and Noah Schader, Kingsley and Greyson Good, Ashley (Skylar) and Celeste DeFrane, Holly and Anna Orth, Miles and Cole Orth and Scotlyn and Remi Alexander.
She will be fondly remembered by her dear brother Thomas Bulmer, cherished daughter-in-law Rae Pope and many nieces and nephews.
Hazel was a long-time charter member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was one of the original residents of Luther Village on the Park, Waterloo, where she was a devoted member of the Sewing Group and a revered member of the Garden Club.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Dieter Kays officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room. A private family interment will be held at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
