Allan was a kind and generous man …. a gentle soul. He lived his life to the fullest, working hard perfecting his job, and his multi decade long friendships. He strongly believed in education and pursuing one’s dreams. As a Master Brewer he worked hard to perfect the many recipes of Moosehead beers. He loved to fish and hunt, yet seldom came home with freshly catch fish, or even firing his hunting rifle during the trips with his buddies. The deer were relieved when they saw Allan coming.
Uncle Allan …. You will be missed
I wish to send my condolences to Allen's nieces and nephew and great-nieces and nephews. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Allan since his life lead him to the east coast and mine went west. Having visited Nova Scotia in recent years, I understand why that became his home. He will be missed.

My Dad Stan Bezruki enjoyed many a fishing and hu ting excursions with Cookie (the nickname they called Allan.) Our family paid him a visit in Nova Scotia at the Lions Head Brewery where he graciously showed us around followed by a meal at his home. My dad and Cookie shared the same birthday and Cookie was here for my dads 45th celebration and he arrived with lobsters in a Styrofoam cooler. We had fun celebrating them both. I last enjoyed a conversation with him at Lois Magee's funeral. He was a very gentle soul. I am sure the many old fishing friends that greeted him will show him all the perfect lakes to fish .
