Kaarina and Brian my heart goes out to you both! I have fond memories celebrating Chinese New Year’s at your home on Birchcliffe! Tai Chi classes at Calvin Presbyterian Church on Westmount (who knew you could do Tai Chi to Metallica) Steve’s big heart, laughter, love of music and he gave the best hugs! So sorry for your loss. I first met Steve several years ago when he spoke at Unity Kitchener. I loved learning Tai Chi with him at the various places he taught classes. Holding his family in my heart and prayers. I will raise a glass in his honor and think of him as I do my morning Tai Chi practice. RIP Master Steve. :))

I am so sad to hear the news of Steve's passing. Steve was one of the first people I met when I arrived in Canada to go to Western University. He was always fun to be around, and I'm glad we got to see him over the years at gatherings of the old gang. Ellen and I send our deepest condolences to Kaarina and the rest of the family. Kaarina, I just heard the news and will now pour 2 glasses of a single pot Irish whiskey and raise one in memory of one of the truly fine people it's been my goodluck to have known for 50 odd but wonderful years.
