Obituary of Jane Elizabeth Linda Kissner

Jane Elizabeth Linda Kissner passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the age of 76 years.

Predeceased by parents Delton (Del) and Lyla Beth (Betty) (nee Torrance) Kissner. Will be missed by her sisters Penny Winkler and Jovie (Rob) Allison and best friend Yvette Peters, who was like a sister to Jane.  Also survived by Gary Winkler, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

She started her career at the Kitchener Public Utilities Commission. Subsequently worked for the Waterloo Regional Police Service for over 35 years, retiring as the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police and Police Services Board. She loved walking and had a great fondness for horses and dogs, eventually becoming a racehorse owner with her father.

At her request, there will be no visitation or service. A private family interment has taken place at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
