The Valley is my home, the river is my friend
We walk it side by side, until our journey's end
I'll meet you in the sun, be with you in the light
Together once again and through the darkest night. (Memories of last May 24th weekend)

Its hard to believe that music plays on 6 months after you passed. My family were so gifted to mingle with you and Lori, when the July Blues festival was in town. We shared fun, laughter, serious conversation about rocks, and only a little music. Even when I overcooked your steak you sweetly replied how tender it was. What a Gentle giant of a Man! They dont make Real humans like you Ron, You were Zen and shared it freely! We miss you. We are better for knowing you. Special Hugs to Lori, Natalie and Alister, from your family in Ottawa.

Just sitting watching some football down in Chatham on the first snowfall of the year. Made me think of when Ron and I would sit, relax, and watch some football after work on mondays. Miss you Ronnie

Growing up beside the Kellerman family was an honour, they were always united, strong, caring, focused, and strong in faith and charity. Missionaries at heart. They never judged you, but always welcomed you. Dorothy was my buddy, we watched Jeopardy together and played with my dog. Dorothy loved to laugh. Linda, Ron and Barb were older like my sisters, but still treated me like I was family. Ron gave a big bear hug at Dwight's funeral. Ron's son Shawn was at grandma's when my nephew Brent was at grandma's and it gave plenty of opportunity to see what a terrific father Ron was, loving, caring, guiding, encouraging, believing, and never judging. Then he became a wonderful grandfather too. The Kellermans helped my family be better people, esp during troubled times. Hilda was a saint to me, and allowed me to talk to her when I really needed an ear. Dwight was quiet, unassuming, typical of my other Mutual Life friends, but he was kind to me and let me work with him in his garden, Hilda let me in the kitchen while she baked, and the kids music came into our hearts through the windows. They all aspired us to have stronger faith, more charity for others, and to building loving relationships esp with God, and not to judge others. They also reminded us we all fall down at times, and God is a redeeming forgiving God, and will always welcome us. Thank you so much to the Kellerman family, they have made our community better, and have helped in other countries too. Such a good caring family who has blessed us all.

Sorry to hear the news about Ron. He was a big man with a big heart. Ron made an impact in our lives whether he was hitting the slopes with Will, or sharing his music on stage and at parties with friends. From the blues to zydeco, his passion for music was a part of our lives we will always cherish. I am sorry I cannot be there in person to honour a friend who touched so many lives through his music and his larger than life personality. Beth Feor-Robertson

So sorry for your loss. we didn't know Ron long but liked him a lot. he bowled with us on Wednesday evenings in Blenheim and he worked with our son. we talked about bird watching and loving our pets among other things. we will miss him. he came to my (Barb) birthday party in September, just the week before he became ill and i never had a chance to thank him for the bottle of wine he brought me. he had only stayed for a few minutes because he wasn't feeling well. i know he was very excited that his son would be playing with his band down here and we were sorry we weren't able to go and hear him play. he was in our prayers while he was sick and now our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Lori and family. My deepest condolences. I had the privilege of interviewing and working with Ron here at Veolia. He was my favorite chemist right from the first time I met him ! We had many conversations at work about the state-of-affairs in the world, and of course music. "Rockin' Ronny" will be missed

This very sad news came to me last night. During an important stretch in my life I could always count on Ron's home and heart to be open to me. Always the music, and some how he will find a way to help us deal with these deep blues as well. Peace to Ron and all of his family and friends.

All... I was very sad to hear of Ron's passing, and hope that Ron's family and friends are doing as well as they can at this very difficult time. I have so many fond memories of my time in Waterloo, and Ron was a big part of that as he introduced me to the Grad Club (always a hit), but more importantly - to the Blues. His passion for music was very infectious, and I have shared that same passion for music and the Blues with my own kids. One of my key memories was when Ron had one of his many impromptu "Blues Night" at his house, and he accompanied Chicago Pete who played Hey Joe. What a night - I'll always remember that! Ron was also a very kind man. He took many a grad student under his wing (with approriate head-shaking :-)), including yours truly, which made life so much easier for us all back then. I wish very much that I could be there on Friday to share some great memories and the odd pint with one and all. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend. However, we will be there in spirit. All the best from Calgary.

It seems only yesterday we gathered to send Dwight home to our Lord with a wonderful Celebration of Life service accompanied by Barbara, Ron, and Shawn musically. Now here we are again this time to send Ron into God's loving arms. There is nothing more glorious, but those of us waiting our turn here are earth, are lonely when our family and friends go on their journey. But we gather strength in remember what we have shared and how we have grown because somebody has touched our lives. We also know that we now have yet another guardian angel too.
