Hearing of Uncle Eugene's death makes me reminiscent of many childhood memories sharing family time in Paris. It also makes me reflect on how special it is to find your one true love. Aunt Doris and Uncle Eugenie were one of those fortunate couples. As I share my family times around the dining room table that Uncle Eugene refinished he has never been nor will he eve be out of our thoughts.

I often think back fondly on the summer vacations I spent in Paris at Gramma (Helen) & Georges and the visits from Aunt Doris and Uncle Eugene. Uncle Eugene always included us children in the conversation and was genuinely interested in what we were doing. This never changed as we grew up. My husband George and I always enjoyed the visits from Aunt Doris and Uncle Eugene at Turkey Point, Kitchener and at Conestoga Lodge. We will miss his inspiring converstaions and caring ways.

Never a kindler gentle man have we met than uncle Eugene. He did so many things for our family and especially Aunt Doris. The time he would take to come to Turkey Point to visit my Mom and bring her the hand crafted bird houses he made was special. He and aunt Do went out of there way to make sure mom was okay and that was very special. He will be sadly missed. Paul and Sue

We will always remember Uncle Eugene at Pike Bay when we had our family weekends when all the children were young, and him sitting on the edge of the pool with his legs dangling in the water. We will remember taking Aunt Doris and Uncle Gene to the family reunions in Brantford and our visits with them at the apartment on Margaret Avenue and at the Conestoga Lodge. Me, Margaret, will remember the luncheon we had on Mother's Day in Kitchener this year. Thank you for being there so we could appreciate you.
