I only worked with Christine for a short time at JBPS but I remember her bright personality and feeling such warmth from her each day. It was so evident that she truly cared for those around her, adults and children alike. One thing that really sticks out in my mind is how much she loved her son. It was obvious that he was everything to her. Please accept my deepest condolences on such a tragic loss.

We will never forget The first time we meet Chris. Chris had come over to the house with fresh cut flowers, and a "welcome to the neighbourhood" card indicating to call if we need anything the day we moved in across the street.
Her smile will always be remembered as well as her laugh and sense of humor. I especially liked our times having a glass of wine right after aqua-fit.

It is with a broken heart that I leave you this message. Christine was a wonderful human being. We were classmates from grade 7 to grade 12. She was always so very kind to me when others were not. Even though we were not "friends" we always exchanged hellos and smiles in the hallways of schools she was teaching in and my children were attending. Our last full fledged conversation was her telling me that I moved across the street from her brother as a "warning" lol...joking of course. I could not believe this happened. She is now in the hands of our Lord Jesus, he called her too early :-( My thoughts and prayers to everyone.

Mrs.Fries was the best and coolest teacher I have ever made friends with. Even though she was never directly my teacher we shared a special relationship I will never forget. She put a smile on my face as well as many other kids everyday. When I broke my arm recently she took her time to comfort me and brought me home.I loved her ponchos and the occasional sip of her coffee. Although it has been years since we have been part of each others lives I have thought of you often and I am heartbroken at this news. My condolences to your family, husband and son.
