Obituary of Christine Fries

Chris passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday November 2, 2011 at the age of 36. Beloved wife and best friend of Dan Fries, lovingly devoted Mommy of Hayden Fries, cherished daughter of Pat and Penny Ann Schmidt, protective and loving sister of Steven (Julie) and Paula Schmidt. Adored granddaughter of Jean Pride. Precious daughter-in-law of Carol and Matt Esch and sister-in-law of Heather and Joe Revere. Wonderfully playful "Auntie Chris" to Kyle and Gracie Schmidt and Austin Revere. Sadly missed by her many friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by her infant son Nickolas and Grandpa Leo Schmidt. Chris' family will receive family and friends for visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, November 4 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Chris' giving spirit will continue through her donations to the Trillium Gift of Life Network. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Trillium Gift of Life Network or an educational trust fund for Hayden.
