I'll always remember Dorothy singing. As a little girl she was always singing. She sang when she was happy, and she sang when she was sad. She always consoled herself with singing. When she was getting the measles she sat in the rocking chair and sang. Finally, when her little cheeks were red with fever she said to Mother, "I guess I have to go to bed now". She was too sick to sing.
One of her special gifts that she shared selflessly throughout her life was her singing. It was her joy, her love, her Light.
