Obituary of Dorothy Zurbrigg

Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Pinehaven Nursing Home in Waterloo. Dear wife of the late Ralph S. Zurbrigg (1998) Loving mother of Elaine (Robert) Lee, Gil (Nancy), Dianne (Allan) Unrau, Marilyn Zurbrigg, Keith (Sharon), Brenda (Roger) Pryce, Sheila (Bart) Oegema, Lavern (Christine), Jim (Lori). Will be fondly remembered by 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Viola (Ken) Schneider, Violet Koch, Clara Jones, Edith (Stanley) Schneider and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Sarah and Rev. George Gross; brothers Elmer Gross and Dr. Gordon Gross; sisters Gladys Ropp, Esther Karges and a son-in-law Brett Strickler. A long time faithful member of the U.C. W. and Bridgeport United Church where both Dorothy and Ralph sang beautiful duets together. Mrs. Zurbrigg's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 7-9 pm and on Thursday, November 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.. The funeral service to celebrate her life and faith will take place on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. from Bridgeport United Church 40 Bridge St. W., Kitchener. Reception to follow in the church hall. Private family interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
