Obituary of Melissa Flynn
On November 23rd 2011, after visiting with her family, who reluctantly left all stating "I Love You", Melissa was listening to music, smiling as usual and sending someone a message on her phone, and she suffered a cardiac arrest. Melissa came to peace on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Toronto Western Hospital following complications after surgery. She was 32.
Melissa, the Honni B, was the most beautiful person this earth has ever seen. Those who had the pleasure of meeting her for even a moment would agree. Those who she cared about and loved, and there were many, were blessed by her kindness and generosity.
Melissa loved and lived her life to the fullest. She loved music, she loved to eat, drink, sing and dance, she loved to laugh and create memories, she loved her children and her husband. Melissa's philosophy in life was to have no regrets.
Melissa was dedicated to being the most loving and nurturing mother, loving and supporting wife, always considerate and caring for family, friends, neighbours and co-workers. Melissa was intelligent, motivated and driven, she would always complete everything on her checklist and then make a batch of cookies or muffins just in case anyone wanted a snack.
Melissa's laugh was genuine and filled the room with joy, her smile was beautiful, sincere and heart-warming. Melissa was the nucleus of this large family that extends to Ireland and the US and is devastated by her loss. She will be cherished, missed and never forgotten.
Beloved wife and best friend of David Flynn. Loving mommy to Reilly Mary Margaret Flynn and Phoenix Patrick Ronald Flynn. Cherished daughter of Ronald and Donna Kieswetter of Wellesley, sister of John Kieswetter, and granddaughter of Marjorie Kieswetter, Leone Hill, and Annie Dunne. Daughter-in-law of Patrick and Ann Flynn and sister-in-law of Diane Flynn, Jonathan Flynn and Andrew Flynn. Melissa is remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and canine friend Zigge.
