The passing of a wonderful mom, grandmother and, to me, all too briefely Mother-in-law, is hard to bear. Margaret lived a faithful and full life, her love of her Lord evident to all. In her declining years she lived in Waterloo and was blessed by an abundance of love and care shown by daughter Janice, and grandchildren Jon, Gloria & Angela. Though parting is hard, I am sure that the warm memories she made possible for you all will make it less so, with time. God Bless, Joe

I have known Mrs. Christensen almost all my life. Her daughter Janice and I met in Sunday School and becoming fast friends, I have had many opportunity to share in Mrs. Christensen's expressions of love and kindness over the years. Every time I would met her, she would always express her joy at seeing me, and even more so, her joy and pride in her daughter and grandchildren.
When she became very ill, I joined Janice in a visit to see her mother. I was so impressed with the expressions of love that flowed between the two of them, how Janice so gently and lovingly sought to take care of her mother; was she warm enough, was she comfortable, did she need anything. Janice also would express often how much she was grateful for all her mother had done over the years, how she had been so generous, thoughtful and loving. In return, Mrs. Christensen looked at Janice with eyes full of such love, pleasure and compassion. .
That visit filled me with such awe and humility.
Mrs. Christensen was such a sweet soul, one that will be missed, and whose memory will be treasured. I feel privileged to have known her.
