Obituary of Johanna Dippel

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side at KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Thursday February 9, 2012, age 92. Loving mother of Roger Dippel and Jane (Larry) Plomin and mother-in-law of Wendy Dippel. Dear grandmother of Kevin, Robin, Gary, Nancy and Tracy. Cherished great-grandmother of Alexis, Asher, Madyson, Julian and Cora. Beloved sister of Caroline Kernaghan, Josephine Gooding and Rose McKenzie. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Wesley Dippel (1984) and son Douglas Patrick Dippel; parents Linus and Clara Ditner; brothers Cletus, Joseph, Linus (Pete) and sisters Caroline, Sister Mary Ditner, Clara Weber and Hildegard Koebel. Friends are invited to share their memories of Johanna with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 10 am to 10:45 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Lobsinger CR as celebrant. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment to follow later in the spring, St. Agatha RC Cemetery.
