I knew Nelson for just a very short time out of those 94 years but he definately left an impression. So gentle and kind and giving. He was a fantastic volunteer and stepped in where others would not. Peace. You are missed.

We were dismayed to hear of Nelson's passing. He touched the lives of many in our program and was an example to us all of the good a single person can do in their community. We always marveled at the drive and energy he brought to volunteering, even into his nineties! And we will always fondly remember him and the gentle kindness with which he served others.

It is difficult to say just a few things about Uncle Nelson. He was like a second father to me as the niece who lived with the family during the summer holidays on the farm. Out of school but never out of work! Hard working and caring, both he and Aunt Lovina treated me like a family member. So many good menories of life and times in Conestogo at the Webers. What a great example he was as a man who cared for his family, his extended family, church and community. A real doer who showed how to live by example. I was s happy he was able to convince his sister (mom) to join him on a trip to New Zealand in his mid 80's. We had a great visit and I got to know and appreciate him just that much more as an adult. With a twinkle in his eye and sense of humour he lived life, enjoyed what he could and couldn't wait for his next adventure. My thoughts are with all the family at this time. Much love - Ruth

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with the Weber family. Uncle Nelson was always kind. I'll always remember being at the homestead farm looking at all the turkeys in the turkey barn as a young kid living down the road from them. God bless you, Linda (Weber) & David Gee London, ON (Aden & Martha's youngest daughter)
