For as long as I can remember, the standard greeting that Uncle Art and I used when greeting each other was: 'Hi ya Art' and 'Hi ya Kit'. This started back in the 60's when he visited us in Edmonton. Now, alas, the time has come to say 'Bye ya Art'. You will be deeply missed.

We were so sad to hear that Art had passed on. Please accept out deepest sympathy Helen, John, and Family. We always enjoyed our hockey night get-togethers, and after our move out west, our long distance chats. The Maple Leafs have lost a devoted fan, and we have lost a very dear friend. We already miss him. Our Love to you all, Pearl and Ron

Dear Murphy's, I will dearly miss Art. The memories that come to mind immediately include his warm, gentle smile and tongue-in-cheek sense of humour. Sitting down with him and talking about the world over an Old Milwaukee was priceless, although I would gladly pay for one more of those moments. Mrs Murphy, your home was always busy with friends coming and going and it's no wonder since you and Art offered so much joy, comfort and love to those around you. If someone's worth was based on the value they provided to their community and family, Art would have been considered one of the richest people I've ever met....which is how I'll always remember him:) love, The Moirs (Michael, Liana, Talia, and Charlee)
