Obituary of Peter Orendi

Peacefully and surrounded by his family Peter passed away at his home at Highland Place Retirement Residence in Kitchener on July 28, 2012 at the age of 80 years, Peter Orendi, loving husband of Sara Orendi ( nee ) Gross for 59 years. Dear father Gerri Zlak (Randy) of Plattsville, Heidi Ehrlich (Gary) of Wellesley and Linda Amorim (Fernando ) of Elmira. Proud Grandfather of Matt Zlak (Erin), Andrew Zlak (Andrea), Kerstin Beavis, ( Mark), Alex Ehrlich (Virginia ), Katie Ehrlich, Jeff Emrich (Olivia ) & Cheryl Emrich. Great Grandfather to Lily Beavis. Fondly remembered by his sisters Katharina Benki and Sara Wolff (Andy). Predeceased by his parents Georg and Katharina Orendi and brothers Georg, Martin and John Orendi. Peter will also be remembered by many other extended family and friends. Peter retired from Boehmer Supply after over 30 years of dedicated service. He was a proud member of Bethel Lutheran Church and the Transylvania Club of Kitchener for over 50 years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Peter with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on July 31, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 11 am. Pastor Joe Das officiating. Reception to follow in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener.
