Obituary of Willi Klingspon

After a 84 year long fulfilling life of hardwork, compassion, laughter, kindness, travel, fun, and love Willi Klingspon passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Grand River Hospital, August 1, 2012. He will be greatly missed by his partner and soulmate Gladys Price and her family: Diann Lutz, Deby and Richard Rank and Cameron Price as well as seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Dear brother of Hermann and Agatha Klingspon and Erwin and Helga Klingspon ,Uncle to five nephews ,one niece, five great nephews and two great nieces, and one great great niece , his Godson Gerald Vogel of Ohio kept in touch with him, as well as many cousins. Predeceased in 2004 by his loving wife Elsie Geisel, his parents Gustav and Frieda (nee Vogel) Klingspon , brother Philipp and sister Londa and husband Winfried Mielke. Willi and brother Hermann owned and operated W & H Autobody on Wellington Street for 44 years. He built his own cottage at Kintail, Lake Huron, where many happy years were spent enjoying, entertaining, sailing and sunsets. He was a member of Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church. Friends are invited to share their memories of Willi with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday August 6, 2012 from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church 47 Sheldon Ave, N on Tuesday August 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joe Das officiating. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception to follow in the Church Hall.
