I am one of many people who passed through the Tim Horton doors having my first job at 15 years old in the early 80's. I was dating John Crawford at that time who was one of the bakers with Morris. As a nieve 15 year old Pat managed to strike fear into me. I remember the day I was adding window solution into the spray bottle and instead of adding one part solution and four parts water I was adding all window solution. Pat caught me doing it and pointed out my wrong doing while not quite yelling, but with a raised voice. Rightly so. I remember my time at Tim Horton's fondly and was treated very well by Pat and his family. My condolences to his family.

We did not know Pat personally, but know him through his son Steve - in the words and actions and character of the man that Steve is today.
