Dear Dianne and family, Personally I have so many very fond memories spent with the McQuay Family in years gone by, and am very sad to hear of Gord's passing. Dear Diane and family: Please accept Linda and my sincerest condolences for your great loss. Gordon made great contributions to the aircraft tire business at B.F. Goodrich during my tenure. I was very fortunate to work with him as he brought the aircraft retread operations out of the dark ages into a state of the art environment. He was an enlighted leader with many, many creative initiatives that led to increased market share and profitability. From the time I first met him in Halifax when I was determined to recruit him to join our team until I later left BFG, he was not only a great professional associate but also a friend with a positive attitude, a humorous approach and great dedication to his family.
