It was our pleasure to have known Don McDougall, first as a successful businessman, a colleague & as a wonderful friend. Gertie, Elaine, Carol & families, you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. We will miss Don, but he will be forever in our hearts and memories. We treasure his easy affable nature, his wonderful sense of humour, and his friendship too soon gone.

I can hardly believe that we have lost such a dear friend. The McDougalls have been cherished friends of mine since we sat in church together as small children eating fruit loops and playing with Gerti's pocket handkerchiefs. Many great memories of trips to the zoo, Cullen Gardens, River Boat cruise. I remember a mini bike and a goose. Don was one of the kindest people I have met. Always smiling and softspoken. My heart is broken for you Elaine and your family. He will be greatly missed. My mother-in-law Dorothy has had the privilege of spending many trips to Dr's appt with Don and Gerti and has been so blessed by their friendship. They will be hard to replace. Thank you for many great memories Don!
