Rev Harold Steed married my husband and I on April 30, 1960 at Moorefield United Church, in Moorefield On.and he did a wonderful job, and it lasted!!
Our names were so similar that it created a few laughs.
My mother Cecile Johnson nee Campbell, had been a school teacher near Drayton and she taught Harold in Sunday School at Drayton United Church in Drayton, in the early 1930's, when Harold's father was minister there.
I believe Harold's father had also been a missionary, and had just returned from the mission field.
