We're grateful for all the ways in which Esther (and Henry) were involved in the lives of our late aunt and uncle, Helen (Harder) and Peter Loewen. They became a kind of family for the older couple, since they had no children of their own and relatives were far away. We also remember with gratitude how, when we came to hear the premiere of Carol Ann Weaver's "Paraguay Primeval", Esther and Henry (along with the Hechts) took us out for supper. It was a wonderful meal and wonderful conversation. Their kindness and their interest in our lives and experiences were a memorable demonstration of hospitality. Warmest sympathies.
