Obituary of Esther Regehr

After a long struggle with cancer, Esther passed away at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Tuesday September 25, 2012 at the age of 66. She will be missed more than words can express. Beloved wife of the late Henry Regehr (2011); dear mother of Jeff (Andi) and Doug (Melissa); loving grandmother of Hannah, Delaney, Gideon, Eric, Naomi, Tessa and Kyrie; dear sister to Evelyn (Ken) Bodell, Ernie (Darlene) Martens, Beth (Don) Reid, James (Diane) Martens, Lyle (Cindy) Martens and Ed Martens; sister-in-law to Anne Regehr, Peter (Dorothy) Regehr, Tina Giesbrecht and Susie Regehr; Esther was predeceased by her parents Edward & Elizabeth Martens. Friends are invited to share their memories of Esther with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday September 30, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Waterloo North Mennonite Church, 100 Benjamin Rd., Waterloo on Monday October 1, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow the service at the church. A private family interment at St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery will follow the reception.
