Obituary of Kenneth Hergott

Hergott, Kenneth Lloyd (Coach) 1936-2012 Ken Passed away peacefully at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Saturday October 20, 2012. Predeceased by his parents Madeline Welzbacher and Joseph Hergott. Loving husband of the late Carole Anne Hergott (September 3, 2012); dear mother of Kevin and his wife Susan, Brad and his wife Joanne, all of Waterloo, Special grandpa to Brandon (Amy), Kelly (Chris), Tara and Lindsay; great grandpa to Kalen and Isaac. Remembered by his siblings, Eileen Hergott, Delores Curylo, Roy Hergott (Jane), Harold Hergott (Marian), Joan Pfaff (Larry) and Ron Hergott (Sandy). Brother in law to Don Reesor and Blanche Hergott. Ken is also survived by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by siblings Edward Hergott (Mamie), Al Hergott, Gil Stumpf (Madge), Vicki Reesor. Ken was the former coach of the Waterloo Cubs - Major Adam all-star team and coached well over 1000 games. He was involved in Waterloo Minor Hockey for over 28 years. Ken was also a coach for all-star Waterloo Minor Baseball. The Hergott family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday October 23rd and Wednesday October 24th 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The funeral service will take place on Thursday October 25, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church 22 Willow Street, Waterloo at 11 am. Reception to follow in the church hall.
