Obituary of Velma Cassidy

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday December 21, 2012 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Cassidy; loving mother of Ron Cassidy (Ethelyn), Barbara Lucci (Domenic), Larry Cassidy (Barbara); cherished grandmother of Jeff Cassidy, Andrea Thompson, Allison Buretti (Steve), Kim Boatman (Richard), Sandra McDowell (Greg), Pete Lucci, Leanna Hartson, Kerry Maurice (Adrian), Tanya McKendry, and great-grandmother of 16. Also survived by half-brother Murray Steen. Velma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She always welcomed new friends with a loving and caring smile. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will occur at Parkview Cemetery, in the spring.
