So many wonderful memories of Aunt Lorraine. Sitting in Grandma's kitchen on Mount Albert Sports Day, always anxious to hear of our adventures at the park, always a hug, always a smile. I remember her beauty, inside and out. When memories become all we have of a loved one, how precious that mine of her always bring a smile.

Lorraine came into my hair salon in 1992. Her bubbly personality made her impossible not to notice. She quickly went from client to friend. I told her she looked so much like my aunt. From that point on we were like family. I remember the day that she told me she loved me. She gave her love freely and with open arms. I kept in touch with her always because she taught me how to age...gracefully and with spirit. Everyone that met her loved her ability to befriend, not just a few, but everyone. No matter what residence she lived in, the staff counted on her to make new residents welcome. What an amazing quality she had. I lost a friend but the wisdom she left behind will not be forgotten...not in my lifetime. Because I will take that knowledge with me into my golden years as well. I can only hope to be as loving and strong an individual as she was. I will miss her. Cecile Voll Davis

Dear Gary and Family, The world has lost a wonderful woman but they must be celebrating in heaven. I have read many books about positive attitude being important but Lorraine defined it. Her positive spirit was infectious. God must be thrilled with her performance on earth. But I am so sorry for your loss. I loved her and will now miss her. It must have been wonderful to have had her as your mother all these years. You were truly blessed. Cecile Davis
