Obituary of John Robertson

Passed away unexpectedly in Waterloo on March 29, 2013 in his 81st year. Born August 6, 1932 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, son of the late Mildred and Jack Robertson of Kitchener. Beloved and caring husband of Mary Lou Picard. Loving father of James (Jim) Robertson and partner Brian Montoux of Toronto, Heather Robertson of Calgary, and Lisa (Robertson) Brown and her husband Dr. Dan Brown of Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. Loving stepfather to Paul Picard and his wife Tish, and to Jan Picard. Cherished grandfather of Andre Picard, Aiden Brown and Alexandre Picard. Survived by sisters Jean Biancucci and Wendy Strickler and her husband Gary, and six nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law Claude Biancucci. Jack loved, and was loved by, his family and many friends. He was an avid golfer and a respected and active member of the KW community, both with the Waterloo Club, and with the Church of St. John the Evangelist (Anglican) in Kitchener. Jack spent most of his professional career with the Great West Life Assurance Co. Cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration of Jack's life, followed by a reception, will take place on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at 1:00PM, at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St South, Waterloo, ON.
