How sad to see another family friend pass away. Claude was so good to my mom after both Stephie and my dad had passed. I know that they spent hours on the phone. Life is too short not to say, "Thanks for the friendship.". I will always remember Claude and Stephie when I look at my little stool which holds memorial flowers for my sister and husband.

My Uncle claude was the closet man I had in my life, next to my own Dad. He and Dad were like brothers. No matter what was happening, Uncle Claude was there to listen. When my mom took ill 3 yrs ago, I called and he comforted me. It didn't matter that I was crying most of the time, he just istened. We spoke every few months. His conversations always ended with 'hey kiddo, I love you'...A little part of me is gone. He is with Chocie Steffie and Dad now. I will always love him.

Claude was a very dedicated and knowledgeable mentor and colleague through his work in the animal labs at the Psychology Department at the University of Waterloo. He became a good friend who was beloved for his cheerfulness, thoughtfulness and devotion to his family. We had many wonderful conversations! Claude will be greatly missed.
