Obituary of Iain Jennings

Passed away at the age of 18 years. Beloved son of Denise and Dwayne Jennings of Waterloo and brother to Mitchell. Iain was loved dearly by an extended family: Grandparents Keith and Donna Meredith of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, Grandparents Rose and Len Jennings of St. Clair Beach, Ontario. Nephew of Dan and Andrea Jennings of Fonthill, Ontario; Karen and Gerry Llanos of Stewartsville, New Jersey, and Brent and the late Sheila Meredith of Belle River, Ontario. Iain had a lot of wonderful times with his cousins Morgan Meredith, Natalie, Lauren and Greg Jennings, and Adrian and Amelia Llanos. Iain was a kind and gentle soul who bore his difficulties with dignity. He greatly valued independence and self-reliance, and loved music, art, nature and his pets. He cared deeply about the down trodden and less fortunate of this world. Friends are invited to share their memories of Iain with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 240 Hemlock St., Waterloo, on Saturday, August 3, at 10:00 am with the Rev. Cornelius J. O'Mahony as Celebrant. Interment will be held at a later date. Reception following the service will be at the Parish Hall in the church.
